Google Cloud: The only option for AI startups
By 2023, 94% of businesses had migrated to the cloud. The reasons behind the shift — exacerbated by Covid-19 — are pretty clear: the cloud offers a simple, cost-effective, collaborative, secure and insight-driven solution to business operations.
Today, businesses live and thrive in the cloud. This is especially true of startups in the tech and AI space, where cloud computing serves as the vital backbone of their business.
Google is one of the leaders among cloud providers here to cater to tech and AI startups.
The Google for Startups Cloud Program is specifically designed with startups in mind. It was created to offer startups the financial, business and technical support they need, not just to grow, but to thrive.
A rundown of the program
The program gives eligible startups access to Google experts, Google Cloud credits and Google-wide offers, in addition to a series of highly impactful benefits:
Credits: If you’re backed with equity funding, then up to $100,000 USD a year for your first two years, select AI startups may qualify for additional credits up to $350,000 USD. If you’re early in your startup journey and not yet backed with equity funding, you’ll have access to $2,000 of Google Cloud credits for up to a year.
Google-wide discounts: New signups will get 12 months free Google Workspace Business Plus and discounts on Google Maps Platform.
Training: Google Cloud Skills Boost credits up to $500 giving access to online courses and hands-on labs.
Technical support: Scaled support and technical enablement for all. Equity-funded startups receive Google Cloud Enhanced Support credits for one year.
Business Support & Networking: Access to our global Google Cloud Startup Community, co-marketing opportunities for select startups and a Startup Success Manager for funded startups.
Benefits for AI startups
With Google Cloud, AI startups can do more, faster.
Beyond the additional cloud credits eligible AI startup get access to, AI startups will also get access to Google’s in-house AI experts, training and resources. This includes webinars and live Q&As with Google Cloud AI product managers, engineers and developer advocates, and insights into Google Cloud’s latest innovations in AI.
AI Startups are granted free access to hands-on learning labs, which feature the latest AI and Google Cloud technology Google has on offer.
